- Extremely dry and fragile skin.
Also, there is a pretty interesting way to find out by yourself whether you are dehydrated or not. You should just pinch your skin in the back of your hand. If the skin fold, or sign, smooths out immediately it means you are finely hydrated. If the contrary happens it means that you should drink more water because of dehydration.
How much water should we drink?
Well, an adult should drink approximately two liters of water. Nevertheless, the amount of water you should drink is related to your weight. If your kid weights just 9 kilograms you should give them 0.25 liters of water. A person who weights 45 kilograms should drink 1.25 liters of water. A person who weights 72 kilograms should drink two liters of water. Someone who weighs a hundred kilograms should drink 2.75 liters of water. Lastly, someone who weighs 117 kilograms should drink 3.25 liters of water in a day.
Low consumption of water may increase the risk of heart attack and stroke as it narrows the blood vessels, forms blood clots, increases the blood pressure. Also, lower water consumption leads to decreased immunity, kidney stones etc. Drinking less water than suggested increases the risks of worsened metabolism, high cholesterol and also obesity.
