While people from Loretta Lynn’s camp has said that the legendary country singer is recovering well from her stroke two weeks ago, those close to the situation have released new information suggesting otherwise. Sources have told Radar Online that the singer may never sing again.

Loretta Lynn, 85, was admitted to a Nashville hospital after she suffered a stroke at her Hurricane Mills Ranch.

Loretta was moved from the Nashville hospital to a rehab facility on May 15th, and now it is feared that the stroke may have caused more damage than first thought.

Following her stroke, Loretta’s rep stated that the singer was resting, talkative, and expected to make a full recovery.

However, sources are now saying that Loretta’s prognosis may have changed since early May.

Sources close to Lynn have reportedly told Radar that the singer is now having a difficult time trying to speak, and there is major concern over whether she will be able to sing again.

Fans of Loretta Lynn know that if there is one thing she loves to do, it’s sing and entertain. If her health issues never allow her to sing again she will be heartbroken.

“The Queen of queens, Loretta Lynn. Please know, our love is with you, our strength is with you, and our money is on you,” Garth Brooks posted in a video on Monday. “I know you’re already running the place there in ICU. All of our love and all of our strength is with you. There’s a lot of flowers waiting and a lot of love waiting for when you get out of there.”
